Key Three

Scouting units always have a “Key 3” roles without which a unit cannot exist: a representative from the chartering organization, a chair of the unit committee, and a lead program director.

Joint Committee

Our committee consists of parents or adult volunteers who ensure that the unit can operate, but are not required to be trained in (or present at) the outdoor events. They are the foundation on which the whole troop is built, and we’re proud to have a robust and capable group of people serve on ours.

Assistant Scoutmasters and Advisors

Every outing has at least one adult who is specifically trained in the outdoor program and physically able to keep up with the youth in their activities. We are fortunate to have a rich group of assistant scoutmasters and can dedicate one per patrol on most of our events.
